We are a local team based in Machachi, near Cotopaxi National Park, sharing the Andean highlands on horseback.
Who we are
Horseback riding the local way
Horseback riding is one of the most authentic ways to explore the páramo around Cotopaxi Volcano. Our rides start and end at our ranch in Machachi, and every ride is led by a certified local guide who knows the terrain, the weather and each horse very well.
We keep groups small or private, so the pace is yours. First-time riders are welcome: before heading out, your guide fits your equipment, chooses the right horse for you and explains the basics.
Along the way you’ll hear about chagra culture, the horsemen of the Andean highlands, and stop for photos whenever the volcano shows itself.
